Campus-based scholarships pay for tuition and fees (it does not pay for flight fees), a monthly stipend for 10 months, and a book allowance each semester. On-campus scholarships are awarded after a student has enrolled in Army ROTC and applied for and qualified for the scholarship. If a high school senior is awarded a four-year or three-year Advanced Designee scholarship while still in high school, they will receive room and board assurance money from Embry-Riddle that will activate when the scholarship goes into effect. High school seniors are encouraged to apply for the Army ROTC four-year scholarship through the national selection process. If you are an incoming freshman, you may qualify for a full-tuition scholarship to attend Embry-Riddle Prescott. The monthly allowance is currently $300 for freshmen, $350 for sophomores, $450 for juniors, and $500 for seniors. In addition, contracted cadets (scholarship and non-scholarship) receive a monthly allowance. Army ROTC Scholarships at Embry-Riddle are worth approximately $29,000 annually and cover tuition, educational fees, and $1,200 per year for books.
